Taj Mahal, Agra

coke part 2

I don't have much time or energy to finish this. How do you tell people about India?

We went to the Taj Mahal. To be honest, I wasn't all that psyched about seeing it. I mean, I thought it would be nice, but, eh.. what's another building? It was absolutely stunning. It didn't look real. It was some kind of painting. Too bad Agra was so dirty that it was like looking out a dirty window at everything. That night we sat outside and had a beer *slow smile* AH beer. I'd been craving a drink since we arrived, and that beer was damn good. I was so excited to find out there was a bar at the hotel we were staying at that I did a little dance for 10 minutes in our hotel room while I waited for Penny to get ready. It was well worth the wait.

I have to go friends. I don't want to, but I must. SO much more to tell. I'm feeling ill today, and sometimes I crave just 15 minutes of time in my apartment at home... just to recharge. There is no such thing as recharging here. There is no such thing as calm and quiet.. I need to recharge, not only for myself, but for Penny too. She didn't prepare herself mentally for this I think. She tends to have a harder time with everything, and I try to calm her while still maintaining my own Zen state. It's a challenge. Perhaps I will tell you about when our driver disappeared and left us all alone in the middle of nowhere for a while. THAT was a Zen moment.

A hug for each of you. Miss you. Miss home.
Dan
